TATA IPL 2022 Format
The IPL Governing Council has confirmed that the format for the upcoming IPL 2022 has been changed and it will be the same as was in IPL 2011. Two new teams Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) have joined the IPL 2022. So 10 teams will participate in IPL 2022 to win the trophy.
All 10 teams have been divided into two groups. Group A and Group B. Within the Group, every team will play twice against each other. Every team of all groups will play against each other once. Each team from both groups will play 1 more match, which will be selected through the draw. So each team will play 14 league matches. There will be 2 qualifiers, 1 eliminator, and the Final. Total 74 matches in IPL 2022.
